EQUIPMENT AND UTENSIL

BREAD KNIFE

Bread knives are used for cutting bread and are one of many kitchen knives used by chefs. The serrated blades of bread knives are able to cut soft bread without crushing it.
A bread knife generally has a sharp edge that has saw-like notches or teeth, which is referred to as a serrated edge. The blade of a bread knife is 8 to 10 inches long. 8 inches is a common length used for a bread knife.
The knife's long serrated blade works well to slice through food that is hard on the outside and soft on the inside, such as slicing through the hard crusts of bread.
The serrated-edged knives are difficult to sharpen so many times a new knife is bought rather than trying to sharpening a dull serrated blade.

STOCK POT

A stock pot is designed for making stock. A good stock pot is designed to heat rapidly, to simmer long and evenly. It should be large enough to cover a whole chicken and lots of veggies.
The shape of a stock pot usually has a round base, deep straight sides and a cover. The structure you want it to have a thick, heavy bottom to prevent burning. This is especially with stock. Soup requires time to cook so the pan will be sitting on the stove tip for long periods.
The ingredients to scorch and stick to the bottom because it is too thin or made of cheap materials.
The material from copper, aluminum, cast iron, stainless, nonstick and a combination of different materials.

ICE MACHINE

An icemaker, ice generator, or ice machine may refer to either a consumer device for making ice, found inside a home freezer; a stand-alone appliance for making ice, or an industrial machine for making ice on a large scale. The term "ice machine" usually refers to the stand-alone appliance.
The ice generator is the part of the ice machine that actually produces the ice. This would include the evaporator and any associated drives/controls/subframe that are directly involved with making and ejecting the ice into storage.
When most people refer to an ice generator, they mean this ice-making subsystem alone, minus refrigeration.
An ice machine, however, particularly if described as 'packaged', would typically be a complete machine including refrigeration, controls, and dispenser, requiring only connection to power and water supplies.
The term icemaker is more ambiguous, with some manufacturers describing their packaged ice machine as an icemaker, while others describe their generators in this way.
